Spring 2022: April 2-May 27

The City of Kentwood will again offer its brush and leaf drop-off services for residents from Saturday, April 2 through May 27 – except for Sunday, April 17, when the sites will be closed for the Easter holiday.

Brush and leaf drop-off will be available noon-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday at the Kentwood Department of Public Works, 5068 Breton Ave. SE.

The brush drop-off site accepts brush, sticks, tree limbs and logs. Materials that cannot be accepted include plastic or paper bags, trash, dirt, concrete, asphalt, tires, rocks, stones, construction materials, glass and metal. The leaf drop-off site accepts leaves and grass clippings. Leaves should be loose when dropped off. If they are transported to the site in bags, they must be dumped out. Please do not leave bags in the leaf pile.

The services are available to Kentwood residents only; anyone wishing to drop off items must show proof of residency. No contractors are allowed.

The drop-off services provide residents with a convenient way to keep their yards clear of leaves and debris. The accumulation of leaves and debris on a property or in the right-of-way is prohibited in the City of Kentwood, as well as burning leaves and brush.
