BRUSH AND LEAF DROP-OFF PROGRAMS
Open For Fall Oct. 18-Dec. 5
The City of Kentwood's annual leaf and brush drop-off services are available for residents this fall from Monday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Dec. 5 – except Nov. 11, 25 and 26, when our offices will be closed for holidays.
Residents may drop off loose leaves, brush, sticks, tree limbs, logs and grass clippings at the Kentwood Department of Public Works, 5068 Breton Ave. SE. Materials that cannot be accepted include trash, paper and plastic bags, dirt, concrete, asphalt, tires, rocks, stones, construction materials, glass and metal.
Drop-off is available noon-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday through Dec. 5. After closing for winter in December, both drop-off sites will reopen in the spring.
The services are available to Kentwood residents only; anyone wishing to drop off items must show proof of residency. No contractors are allowed.
The drop-off services provide residents with a convenient way to keep their yards clear of leaves and debris. The accumulation of leaves and debris on a property or in the right-of-way is prohibited in the City of Kentwood, as well as burning leaves and brush.
Questions may be directed to the Department of Public Works at 616.554.0817.
