PurchasingThe City of Kentwood purchasing process is governed by portions of City Charter & Code of Ordinances, City Commission Resolutions, and Mayoral Policy that are intended to provide a framework for consistency of decision-making, but also the flexibility to select a product or service from one that may not be the low bidder, but that which provides the best overall value for the City. This allows the City to procure a wide range of products, supplies, equipment, and services to accomplish its goal of providing superior and efficient customer service.
