This race will get you outside to enjoy a combination of trails and roads in Kentwood. Race will begin and end at the Kentwood Library (4950 Breton Rd SE). This course is great for first-time runners or walkers but will also provide a challenge to more experienced runners. This race is perfect for running with your sweet heart, soul mate, BFF or to meet someone new! Kids and families are welcome. The fastest runners will be awarded but there will be no formal awards ceremony. Awards will be available for pick-up the week after the event or can be mailed. Everyone is encouraged to wear their best Valentine themed costumes but it's not required. Runners will receive a long sleeve shirt and other goodies in their participant packets.

Our Winter Concert Series is back again in 2022! Join us for music from Lexi Adams (2/17), Jordan Hamilton (3/17), and Nicholas James Thomasma* (3/31). Concerts take place inside the Community Room at the Kentwood Library. Guests are welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy at the show. Each concert will also have a food truck outside. Get out of the house and join us at the Kentwood Library for winter evening fun! *NOTE: The concert with Nicholas James Thomasma that was originally scheduled for 1/20 has been moved to 3/31.

Come explore Kentwood's Stanaback Park like you have never seen it before! There will be approximately a half mile of pathway lit up with luminaries decorated by community members. This event is free and open to anyone to participate. The entire event is outside so please bundle up so you and your family can stay comfortable.
Kentwood Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Hanger Clinic to offer our annual Limb Loss Awareness 5k on Saturday, April 30! This family friendly event is designed to be a fundraiser for Kentwood Parks and Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation Programs. All profits will be channeled towards improving and offering more programs for people with physical disabilities. The race will take place on the beautiful East West and Paul Henry Trails. All abilities are welcome to participate! Race will start and end at Bowen Station Park, 4499 Bowen Blvd SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. We will also be having a kid’s 1 miles fun run! Kids will receive a t-shirt and ribbon.

Support this dog-friendly fundraiser at Kentwood's dog park! Bring your pup to this free event to explore local pet vendors and enjoy music and food from a food truck. Donations will be accepted throughout the event to raise funds for new amenities at the dog park. Attendees will receive a doggie bag with dog treats and other goodies to take home.

Join us for the sixth annual celebration and fundraiser to further enhance Kentwood’s adaptive recreation programs. The fun-filled backyard party will include cocktails, dinner, music, silent auction, adaptive equipment displays, and yard games. Funds raised at this year’s event will go towards purchasing equipment for our adaptive recreation programs.
Kentwood Food Truck Festival is back again for another year with 20+ food trucks, a beer tent, and live music throughout the day! What's not to love about this event!! It’s sure to be fun for the whole family.
Celebrate the fall and light up the night with a glow event and fun run! Taking place at Pinewood Park, this event will feature a variety of glow-themed activities including light up playground games and crafts, music, food and a .3-1.0 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The park path will be lit with glow sticks and other colorful lights. The evening will conclude with an after-party with music, dancing, and snacks under the park shelter.

Join us at a our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! The event takes place in front of the Kentwood Library starting with the holiday light parade. There will also be carriage rides, kid’s crafts, holiday music, and of course a visit from Santa! We will be accepting non-perishable food donations for our Little Free Pantry to help us through the winter season.
