Notice: Work Along East West Trail Now Complete

UPDATED June 14:  Quality Tree Service of Michigan has completed its work along the East West Trail to remove vegetation that could interfere with power lines.

UPDATED June 6: After receiving a few questions about the treatment along East West Trail that will begin June 11, we have connected with ITC for clarification. ITC has advised us that the trail will be accessible during the herbicide application to vegetation near the trail. The signage will remain at all path entrances while work is in progress.

As soon as the treatment is complete, the signs will be removed and notice will be provided on Facebook. For questions about the herbicide application, please contact the ICT Customer Line at 877.482.4829 or general@itctransco.com.

On behalf of ITC, Quality Tree Service of Michigan will be treating areas along the East West Trail the week of June 11. Use of the trail will not be permitted during treatment, which will include a herbicide application for selective removal of vegetation that could interfere with power lines. 

Trail closures will be intermittent and signage will be displayed at all path entrances while work is in progress.
