Summer Concert Series - RocknSoul
Come hear the music of RocknSoul, Thursday, August 10 at the Kentwood City Hall lawn from 7:00-8:30pm. RocknSoul is a variety dance band that has performed throughout Metro Detroit for over 20 years. They cover a mix of songs from the 60’s, 70's, 80's, 90's and current hits.
Food trucks include Around Baking Company, The Falafel Truck, and Kool Breze.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm.

Where to Park
The concerts take place on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall at 4900 Breton SE. Parking will be limited at both City Hall and the Library. However, additional parking is available at:
- Kentwood Justice Center (4740 Walma SE)
- Field next to water tower (enter at 4740 Walma, go past water tower and turn right)
- Kentwood Fire Station 1 (4775 Walma SE, drive around back of building to front field)
- Kentwood Public Works (5068 Breton SE)
- Street parking in nearby neighborhoods
- Crestwood Middle School (2674 44th St SE - about 0.5 mile walk to concert area)

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Please be aware the intersections of Breton Avenue SE and 52nd Street are closed for paving work. This may impact your route for this event. Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians will need to follow the posted detour along East Paris Avenue, 44th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue. Westbound traffic will remain closed along 52nd Street from Breton Avenue to Kalamazoo Avenue. Eastbound traffic will still be maintained.
