
Summer Concert Series - The Moxie Strings
Come hear the music of The Moxie Strings, Thursday, August 4 at the Kentwood City Hall lawn from 7:00-8:30pm. Hailed by The Grand Rapids Press as “top-notch, instrumental wizardry,” The Moxie Strings will be sharing a foot-stomping, rock-influenced, progressive spin on traditional Celtic and Americana classics and originals.
Food trucks include Patty Matters, El Jalapeno, and Taste of Toya’s World.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm.
Where to Park
The concerts take place on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall at 4900 Breton SE. Parking will be limited at both City Hall and the Library. However, additional parking is available at the Kentwood Justice Center (4740 Walma SE), Kentwood Public Works (5068 Breton SE), Kentwood Baptist Church (2875 52nd St), and there is street parking in nearby neighborhoods.
