Summer Concert Series - The Soul Syndicate
The City of Kentwood is bringing back The Soul Syndicate, on Thursday, June 30 at the Kentwood City Hall lawn from 7:00-8:30pm. The Soul Syndicate is an Award-Winning Classic Soul, R&B, and Funk Performance Group based in Michigan. The band's vintage vibe is inspired by the mid to late 60's/early 70's Soul and R & B scene and is a crowd favorite wherever they perform. Their look and sound replicates artists such as Sam and Dave, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and Wilson Pickett, just to name a few.
Food trucks include Patty Matters, Taste of Toya’s World, and Mapocho Fresh Sanwishes – Food Trailer.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show.
Concerts will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home at: https://www.wktv.org/live25.html
