Summer Concert Series - David Gerald
Join us on the lawn at Kentwood City Hall on Thursday, July 29 for the music of blues artist David Gerald.
Gerald, whose dynamic, blues-infused rock and soul hybrid has been captivating audiences across the country for over a decade, grew up to the sounds of the Blues, R&B and Rock in his hometown of Detroit. He started playing guitar at 14, influenced by Prince and '80s rock guitarists.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm. New this year, Kentwood will offer essential workers and their guests special VIP seating near the stage. Essential workers who are interested can RSVP online prior to each concert. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show. Concerts will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home at: https://www.wktv.org/live25.html
