Summer Concert Series - Good Morning Bedlam
Come hear the music of Minneapolis based folk band Good Morning Bedlam on Thursday, July 20. Their shows are known for their wild energy and stunning harmonies. GMB has played at festivals alongside artists such as Shakey Graves, Sam Bush, Jason Isbell, The Infamous Stringdusters, Trampled By Turtles and others. GMB has been featured on Bluegrass Today, Relix Magazine, Glide Magazine, and Paste Magazine. Now in 2023 the band is gearing up to release a brand-new EP titled Dear Day, Dear Darling in the Fall of this year.
Food trucks include The Falafel Truck, Let’z Taco Bout It, Sanse Filipino Cuisine, Skinny Kenny’s BBQ, and Ohana Hawaiian Ice.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show.

WHERE TO PARK
The concerts take place on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall at 4900 Breton SE. Parking will be limited at both City Hall and the Library. However, additional parking is available at:
- Kentwood Justice Center (4740 Walma SE)
- Field next to water tower (enter at 4740 Walma, go past water tower and turn right)
- Kentwood Fire Station 1 (4775 Walma SE, drive around back of building to front field)
- Kentwood Public Works (5068 Breton SE)
- Street parking in nearby neighborhoods.
- Crestwood Middle School (2674 44th St SE - about 0.5 mile walk to concert area)
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Please be aware that 52nd Street is under construction between Kalamazoo Avenue and Breton Ave. During construction, 52nd Street will remain open to one-way traffic in the eastbound direction only. Westbound traffic will need to follow a posted detour using Kalamazoo Avenue, 44th Street and Breton Avenue. This may impact your route for this event.
