minimum requirements:
- Successful completion of two (2) years of college level coursework;
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a United States citizen at the time of testing for the position;
- Must not have any felony convictions;
- Possess a valid Michigan driver's license prior to hire date;
- Must have attended a police academy; and
- Be MCOLES certified or certifiable by September 13, 2021
- The current starting pay range for July 1 2020 is $26.45 per hour ($55,013 annual).
- The top pay as of July 1 2020 (after four years) is $34.79 per hour ($72,254 annual).

- Vacation – 80 hrs after six months, 160 hrs max.
