If you are interested in serving as a Volunteer in Policing, you are encouraged to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (616)-656-6571. Because the Police Department relies on tax revenues to fund its operations, we normally do not solicit funds from residents. However, the Department does operate a number of special programs and, at other times, has special funding needs. If you are interested in making a financial contribution to the Department, you are encouraged to contact the Chief of Police at (616)-656-6508.
