You may have an instance where it is necessary to file a claim with the City of Kentwood. For your convenience, here is a link to the City’s Claim Form.
State law requires that you file a claim within 45 days of the date of loss. Other factors may also affect your claim. For example, State law allows the City 30 days after notification to repair a pothole before having to pay a claim.
All claims are forwarded to the City’s insurer for review, and they will decide if your claim should be paid. The City’s insurer may contact you directly to discuss your claim.
