The Water Division is responsible for planning, conducting, and maintaining the operations that facilitate high-quality drinking water, an adequate and reliable water supply to the community, and effective wastewater and stormwater services.

The Kentwood water system is supplied from the City of Wyoming and the City of Grand Rapids. If you reside west of Breton Avenue, the City of Wyoming supplies your water and the City of Kentwood services your water and sewer. If you reside east of Breton Avenue the City of Grand Rapids supplies and services your water and sewer.

Water Billing and payment options

Paperless Billing

Paperless billing for water and sewer services is now available for Kentwood residents. To enroll in paperless billing, email your name, preferred billing email address, service address and phone number to WaterBilling@kentwood.us. Be sure to add this email address to your safe senders list. Find more information and answers to frequently asked questions here.

ELECTRONIC BANK PAYMENTS

Automatic electronic bank payment is also available. Electronic bank payments are a free option to make payments to the City of Kentwood without the need for cash or checks. You have the option to set up recurring billing to ensure bills are paid on time each quarter. Electronic bank payments are convenient and one of the most secure forms of payment.
