Kentwood Glow in the Park 5k

Pinewood Park (1999 Wolfboro Dr. SE)
Celebrate the fall and light up the night with a fun glow run! Taking place at Pinewood Park, this event will start just before dusk and will incorporate both park paths and some beautiful neighborhood roads. As the participants finish the race, the course will be lit with glow sticks, and other colorful lights. Registration fees and donations from this race will support Kentwood Parks & Recreation’s Youth Scholarship fund.
Cost $25 to participate. Rate increases to $30 on 9/1; increases to $35 on 10/1; $40 on race day.

Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat

Kentwood Public Works (5068 Breton SE)
Join us for some free family fun including hayrides, face painting, bounce house, and trunk or treat.  Put on your Halloween costume and grab treats from decorated car trunks and vote for your favorite trunk. South Kent Community Expo

Kentwood Activities Center (355 48th St SE)

Join us for the fourth annual South Kent Community Expo!  Explore the products and services from over 70 businesses within the community.  The expo will also feature health screenings, flu shots, and food trucks!  Admission is free and open to the general public.  Vendor space is available! Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Light Parade

4950 Breton SE – in front of the Kentwood Library
Join us for the Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony! The event takes place in front of the Kentwood Library starting with a holiday light parade. There will also be carriage rides, hot chocolate, live music, caroling, and of course a visit from Santa!
